One of the many benefits of membership at Starnews is our Member Rebate program. Each year you are entitled to a percentage of our annual profits based on your individual investments, loans and mortgages. ItÂ’s a great way to bring added value to the already competitive products we offer.
After another successful year, we are pleased to announce that we will be sharing a total of $35,000 in rebates with our members for a loan interest rebate of 2%. The Member Rebates have been posted as of March 25, 2009.
Since 1996 we have now shared over $1.2 million in dividends with our members, making us one of the few credit unions in Ontario that continues this co-operative tradition.
