March 22, 2007: Member Rebates Announced
One of the many benefits of membership at Starnews is our Member Rebate program. Each year you are entitled to a percentage of our annual profits based on your individual investments, loans and mortgages. ItÂ’s a great way to bring added value to the already competitive products we offer.
After another successful year, we are pleased to announce we have shared $112,000 in profits with our members, for a bonus interest of 5 per cent and a loan interest rebate of 5 per cent. This marks the 17th consecutive year that members have received a share of StarnewsÂ’ profits, making us one of the few credit unions in Ontario that continues this co-operative tradition.
